Tale
11-year-old Alfonso, the heir of Don Quixote, and his three imaginary and musical rabbits join Pancho and Victoria to save their beloved city of La Mancha from a severe storm. References (1982). I just watched it in the cinema. Wow, that’s bad. Every few minutes there is a fart joke or something like that. For some reason, he mimes in the final scenes, only for a simple reason – a cheap laugh. Nobody laughed. Seriously, maybe one of the eight jokes got a reaction from the audience, even though it was mostly kids. The animation was mediocre at best. In particular, the main character Alfonso looked cheap, as if they bought a model from some animation library. The script and plot lacked any sensitivity. Some walls just didn’t make any sense. The imaginary characters could have played an important role in the film, but they were just a strange side plot. There are many best films for children.
