When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford to join the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and wanted to hear from people who were like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch it to Ford first, because he thought he would reject it outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been offered a project that would spark other big interest.

Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t know what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). This was a solid production and a very unique storyline.
Is it perfect?
The acting was great. I love how each character embraces their flaws, shows vulnerability, and uses humor to grow spiritually. Shrinking has a lot of emotional, confusing, slightly funny, sweet, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they do more of that because the character development justifies it.
But none of us are
No. I think the excessive use of swear words detracts from the overall power potential. It’s almost like the writers are provoking the show with violence. Personally, I don’t think it was necessary.
Definitely worth watching
